ClipDock Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of ClipDock ("ClipDock", "we", "our", or "us"). By downloading, accessing, purchasing, or using ClipDock, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
2. Service Description
ClipDock is a productivity tool for saving, organizing, searching, editing, copying, and managing clipboard-related content such as text, links, images, files, notes, tags, and folders, depending on the features available in your app version.
- Free features: basic clip creation, storage, viewing, copying, editing, and organization tools available without purchase.
- Paid features: ClipDock Pro features may include higher usage limits, advanced organization, customization, backup/export options, productivity enhancements, or other premium capabilities shown in the app before purchase.
- Feature availability may vary by app version, device, region, operating system, subscription status, and App Store availability.
3. Paid Plans and Purchases
Current Reference Prices
- Weekly subscription: $1.99 per week
- Monthly subscription: $3.99 per month
- Yearly subscription: $19.99 per year
- Lifetime purchase: $39.99 one-time purchase
Prices are provided for reference and may vary by country or region due to App Store pricing tiers, local currency, taxes, promotions, trials, exchange rates, or Apple policy changes. The price shown in the App Store purchase sheet is the final price for your purchase.
Subscriptions
- Subscriptions are purchased through Apple's in-app purchase system and are billed to your Apple ID account.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
- Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings after purchase.
- If you cancel, you may continue using paid subscription features until the end of the current paid period.
- Unused portions of a free trial, if offered, may be forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where permitted by Apple policy.
Lifetime Purchase
- The lifetime purchase is a non-consumable, one-time App Store purchase for eligible ClipDock Pro features available under that purchase option.
- "Lifetime" refers to the lifetime of the ClipDock product/service as made available by us, not the lifetime of any individual user, device, platform, or operating system.
- Some future services that involve additional ongoing costs, third-party fees, or separate products may require a separate purchase or subscription if clearly disclosed.
Refunds and Billing Support
- All billing, refunds, cancellations, and payment disputes are handled by Apple under App Store policies.
- To request a refund, use Apple's official refund process or your App Store purchase history.
- We cannot directly issue App Store refunds, but we can help you locate purchase or restoration options in the app.
4. Your Content and Responsibilities
- You retain ownership of the content you create, paste, save, import, export, copy, or share through ClipDock.
- You are responsible for ensuring that your clip content is lawful, safe, backed up where necessary, and does not violate the rights of others.
- You should not use ClipDock to store or distribute illegal content, malware, abusive material, private information without permission, or content that infringes intellectual property rights.
- You are responsible for reviewing content before copying, sending, exporting, or sharing it to other apps, people, devices, or services.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse ClipDock or interfere with its normal operation. Prohibited conduct includes:
- Reverse engineering, decompiling, modifying, reselling, sublicensing, or redistributing the app except where allowed by applicable law.
- Using ClipDock to violate laws, regulations, platform rules, privacy rights, publicity rights, or intellectual property rights.
- Attempting to bypass purchase validation, usage limits, security controls, or App Store mechanisms.
- Uploading, exporting, copying, or sharing content that you do not have the right to use.
- Using automated tools or abusive workflows that could harm the app, users, Apple services, or third-party services.
6. Intellectual Property
- ClipDock, including its software, design, interface, graphics, names, logos, text, and related materials, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.
- These Terms grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use ClipDock for lawful personal or internal business productivity purposes.
- No rights are granted except those expressly stated in these Terms.
7. Third-Party Services
ClipDock may interact with Apple services, iOS system features, share sheets, files, cloud backups, analytics, diagnostics, or other third-party apps and services. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party content, availability, pricing, policies, or behavior.
8. Availability and Changes
We may update, improve, suspend, limit, or discontinue any part of ClipDock at any time. We may also change feature names, limits, supported devices, supported operating systems, or paid-plan details where reasonably necessary. We will try to avoid changes that materially reduce active paid benefits during a paid period unless required for legal, technical, security, or platform reasons.
9. Disclaimer
ClipDock is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, and data preservation. You are responsible for keeping appropriate backups of important content.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, business, goodwill, or opportunities arising from or related to ClipDock or these Terms. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
11. Termination
- You may stop using ClipDock at any time by deleting the app or discontinuing use.
- We may suspend or terminate access to features if you violate these Terms, abuse the app, attempt to bypass payment or security systems, or if continued access would create legal, security, or operational risk.
- Termination does not automatically entitle you to a refund. Refunds are handled by Apple according to App Store policies.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we may provide notice in the app or through another appropriate method. Continued use of ClipDock after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
13. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms will be interpreted under applicable laws, excluding conflict-of-law rules, unless consumer protection laws in your location require otherwise. If a dispute occurs, we encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve it informally.
