PicRover App Support

Welcome to PicRover. PicRover is an iOS tool for browsing web pages in multiple workspaces, recognizing image resources, selecting images by group, and downloading selected images to local storage.

1. Core Features

1
Multiple Web Workspaces

Workspaces A, B, and C are independent, making it easier to handle images from different websites at the same time.

2
Quick and Deep Recognition

Quick recognition scans the current page. Deep recognition scrolls the page automatically to trigger lazy-loaded images.

3
Image Group Selection

Review all candidates, choose a sample image, and expand the selection using same-group matching rules.

4
Local Download Management

Images are saved under Documents/PicRover. You can review folders and storage usage in the download manager.

2. Frequently Asked Questions

1. Why are some images not recognized?

Some websites use complex scripts, login checks, encrypted APIs, or delayed loading. Please wait for the page to finish loading, then try deep recognition. If the website itself blocks access to image resources, PicRover may not be able to retrieve them.

2. What is the difference between quick recognition and deep recognition?

Quick recognition does not scroll the page and is suitable when images are already present in the DOM. Deep recognition scrolls the page in steps to trigger lazy loading, which is useful for long pages, gallery pages, and pages that load content while scrolling.

3. Where are downloaded images saved?

Downloaded files are saved in the App's Documents/PicRover directory. You can view them in PicRover's download manager, the iOS Files app, or Finder file sharing.

4. Why can an image be previewed but fail to download?

Some websites check Referer, Cookie, login status, request frequency, or image link expiration. Please confirm that the page is still accessible, then try lowering download concurrency, increasing the download interval, or reopening the page before downloading again.

5. How do I change recognition settings for a website?

The first time you tap "Start Recognition" on a website, you can choose quick recognition or deep recognition. Later, you can change recognition mode, auto paging, filters, and download parameters in the website recognition and download settings.

6. Does PicRover determine image copyright for me?

No. PicRover only provides image recognition, selection, and download tools. Please confirm image sources, website rules, and rights permissions before saving or using images.
