Welcome to TuneTrace / 拾曲. TuneTrace helps you record supported audio through iOS ReplayKit, import local audio, split recordings into song-like segments, identify tracks, save them into a local library, organize playlists, and play them with a focused music player.
Record supported app audio through the iOS broadcast panel or import existing audio files into the same organizing workflow.
Use local silence-based segmentation, waveform review, cut-point editing, trimming, and resegmentation tools to prepare tracks.
Identify songs with ShazamKit, review low-confidence matches, rename tracks manually, and update cover artwork when needed.
Save finished clips into a local library, organize playlists, search tracks, use the mini player, and continue playback with queue controls.
1. How do I record audio?
Open the Recording tab, start recording through the iOS broadcast panel, keep the source audio app playing, and stop the broadcast when finished. TuneTrace will import the recording automatically and show it in the Recording tab for segmentation and review.
2. Why did recording fail or produce no usable audio?
Some apps, DRM-protected content, streaming services, calls, system sounds, or iOS restrictions may block ReplayKit recording. Make sure the source audio is playing, your device volume is audible, and the app you are recording allows capture through ReplayKit.
3. Can I import existing audio files?
Yes. Use the import option in the Recording tab. TuneTrace copies the selected audio into its local library area and then runs the same segmentation and organizing flow used for ReplayKit recordings.
4. Why are segments too short, too long, or split incorrectly?
Segmentation depends on silence threshold, minimum silence duration, and minimum segment duration. If the result is not right, adjust the segmentation settings or edit cut points manually, then apply resegmentation when you are ready.
5. Why was a song not identified or marked as low confidence?
Song identification can be affected by background noise, short clips, overlapping audio, live recordings, remixes, unavailable catalog data, network status, or recognition service limits. You can retry recognition, adjust the segment range, or edit the title and artist manually.
6. Where are my recordings and saved songs stored?
Recordings, imported audio, saved songs, playlists, and custom artwork are stored locally on your device in TuneTrace's app data area. Removing the App or deleting local files may remove this content.
7. Why can I only preview some songs?
The free version may limit full access after the free library allowance or during unsaved segment review. Premium unlocks unlimited library access and full playback according to the benefits shown in the App.
8. How do I manage or restore a purchase?
Open the Premium or settings page in TuneTrace and use the restore or manage subscription controls. You can also manage subscriptions directly in your Apple ID App Store subscription settings.
