TuneTrace Terms of Use

1. Service Description
TuneTrace / 拾曲 is an iOS audio organization tool. It helps you record supported audio through the iOS ReplayKit broadcast workflow, import local audio, split recordings into song-like segments, identify songs, edit metadata, save tracks into a local library, create playlists, and play saved audio.
- Free services: basic recording, importing, segmentation, local library, playlist, and playback features, subject to the limits displayed in the App.
- Paid services: Premium membership, subscriptions, lifetime membership, or other paid features. Benefits may include unlimited local library access, full playback beyond free preview limits, and other Premium features displayed in the App or on the App Store purchase page.
2. Usage Rules
- You must comply with applicable laws, platform terms, copyright rules, and network or service security requirements.
- You may not use TuneTrace to record, import, save, identify, distribute, or process illegal, infringing, harmful, malicious, or otherwise unauthorized content.
- You are responsible for confirming whether you have the right to record, copy, edit, save, play, share, or otherwise use any audio content.
- You may not abuse the App through reverse engineering, automated misuse, attacks, attempts to bypass purchase controls, service interference, or similar behavior.
- TuneTrace does not grant you rights to third-party music, recordings, artwork, metadata, or other content.
3. Paid Subscription and Purchase Terms
3.1 Purchase Details
- Name: Premium membership or the corresponding product name shown in the App and on the App Store.
- Type: monthly subscription, annual subscription, lifetime membership, or other products depending on what is displayed in the App and on the App Store.
- Price: the price, currency, period, free trial, promotional offer, and tax information shown on the App Store purchase confirmation page apply.
- Purchase method: purchases are completed through Apple App Store in-app purchase.
3.2 Auto-Renewal
- Auto-renewable subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each subscription period unless you cancel them.
- The subscription fee is charged to your Apple ID account according to Apple App Store rules and the subscription details displayed at purchase.
- To cancel auto-renewal, cancel the subscription in your App Store account subscription settings at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
- After cancellation, you may continue using paid benefits until the end of the current paid period.
- Lifetime membership and other non-renewing products, if offered, do not renew automatically.
3.3 Free Trials, Offers, Upgrades, and Refunds
- If a free trial or promotional offer is displayed, eligibility, duration, price, and renewal rules are subject to the information shown by the App Store.
- If you upgrade to lifetime membership while an active subscription exists, the lifetime product unlocks immediately, but your existing subscription may need to be cancelled separately in App Store subscription management to avoid future renewal.
- Refund requests follow Apple App Store policies. You may submit a refund request through Apple's official channels.
- For issues caused by Apple ID, payment methods, regional availability, refund decisions, or App Store services, please use Apple's official support channels first.
4. Audio Content, Recognition, and Third-Party Services
- TuneTrace can help identify songs through Apple's ShazamKit service, but recognition results may be incomplete, inaccurate, unavailable, or affected by noise, clip length, audio quality, catalog coverage, network status, and third-party service changes.
- Song titles, artists, artwork, Shazam links, Apple Music links, and related metadata may be provided by third-party or platform services. TuneTrace does not guarantee their accuracy, availability, or continued display.
- Some apps, streaming services, protected content, system settings, or copyright restrictions may prevent ReplayKit recording or limit the audio that can be captured. TuneTrace does not guarantee that every source can be recorded.
- You are solely responsible for disputes, losses, or compliance issues arising from your use of recorded, imported, saved, shared, or played audio content.
5. Local Files and Data Management
- Recordings, imported audio, saved tracks, custom artwork, playlists, and most library data are generally stored locally on your device.
- You are responsible for managing local files, device storage, backups, and deletion. Deleting the App, clearing system data, or manually deleting files may make content unrecoverable.
- Premium access does not include cloud storage, cloud backup, music licensing, copyright clearance, or third-party content rights unless explicitly stated in the App.
6. Intellectual Property
- The TuneTrace app name, interface, code, icon, text, and related materials are owned by us or the relevant rights holders.
- Without authorization, you may not copy, modify, decompile, reverse engineer, distribute, rent, sell, or otherwise exploit the App or its components.
- Music, recordings, artwork, metadata, and other third-party content remain owned by their original rights holders. Using the App does not grant you any additional rights to third-party content.
7. Responsibilities and Disclaimers
7.1 Our Responsibilities
- We will make reasonable efforts to provide stable, secure, and available app features.
- We will continue fixing known issues and improving recording, importing, segmentation, recognition, library management, and playback workflows.
- We will handle and protect relevant information according to the Privacy Policy.
7.2 Disclaimers
- To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for service interruption or abnormal features caused by force majeure, system failures, network issues, third-party service changes, App Store service issues, or platform restrictions.
- We are not responsible for disputes, losses, copyright issues, or compliance issues arising from your recording, importing, editing, saving, playback, sharing, or other use of audio content.
- The App does not provide an absolute guarantee of recording success, segmentation accuracy, recognition accuracy, artwork availability, playback compatibility, or uninterrupted access.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms based on product features, legal requirements, operating conditions, or third-party service changes. Material changes will be announced in the App or on the relevant page. Your continued use of TuneTrace means that you have read and accepted the updated Terms.
9. Termination
- You may stop using or uninstall TuneTrace at any time. Uninstalling the App may delete local settings and local content, depending on iOS system behavior.
- If you seriously violate these Terms, applicable laws, or third-party rights, we may restrict or terminate related services to the extent permitted by law.
10. Miscellaneous
- These Terms and the Privacy Policy together form the main rules for your use of TuneTrace.
- If any part of these Terms is found invalid, the remaining provisions remain effective.
- Any dispute arising from these Terms should first be resolved through friendly negotiation. If negotiation fails, the dispute shall be submitted to a court with proper jurisdiction according to law.
